Letter to a Vietnamese-American:
I am glad to hear from you. Most Americans, including
Vietnamese-Americans, are still in denial. We have a
difficult challenge ahead of us.
I believe our strategy is two fold: to seek out
good and open minded people who would listen to the
truth, and to educate the young people about the
truth.
We can only make positive changes when we have a group
of dedicated and like minded individuals who
passionately believe in the principle justice and
equality. It is our mission to seek out these people.
I urge you not to take "radical" actions: such as
promoting violence, or engaging in unfair tactics,
i.e. defaming others or shouting at them.
I also caution you not to support causes that are immoral.
Our struggle is for the hearts and minds of the
people, and we can only do this by appealing to their
conscience.
Sincerely,
Tuan Tran
